NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) — Chick-fil-A is set to open its 13th location in Nebraska, with plans for the new restaurant in North Platte. This will be the only Chick-fil-A between Kearney and Denver.
Construction on the North Platte site began in August and includes a children’s play area. The restaurant is expected to create over 120 jobs.
Sources indicate that the building should be completed by December 20, with construction wrapping up by January 10, 2025.
However, an official opening date has not yet been announced.
Currently, there are nine locally owned Chick-fil-A restaurants and three licensed locations across Nebraska. According to a company statement, Chick-fil-A offers licensing opportunities for food service providers at locations such as universities, airports, and healthcare facilities. Most Chick-fil-A restaurants are owned by individuals who actively manage their businesses alongside their team members.
