Chick-fil-A has officially opened its first location in Duluth, Minnesota, on November 14, 2024. The new restaurant, situated at 1530 Miller Trunk Highway, is the first Chick-fil-A franchise in Northern Minnesota. It will operate from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and will remain closed on Sundays.
On opening day, eager customers lined up outside the restaurant before it opened at 6:30 a.m. The new Chick-fil-A location has created approximately 120 jobs in the community. The menu features popular items such as chicken sandwiches, chicken nuggets, salads, and waffle fries.
To celebrate its grand opening, Chick-fil-A has donated $25,000 to Feeding America, which will be distributed to Second Harvest Northland. Additionally, the restaurant will participate in the company’s Shared Table program, donating surplus food to local shelters and nonprofits.
Chick-fil-A Duluth is also honoring 100 local heroes by providing them with free entrees for a year. This initiative aims to recognize individuals who have made a positive impact in the community.
Owner-operator Jon Farr expressed excitement about the opening and encouraged customers to try their breakfast menu, which starts at 6:30 a.m. and runs until 10:30 a.m. before transitioning to lunch options.
