McDonald’s Canada has introduced a new meal called the Bestie Bundle, featuring limited-edition friendship bracelets. This launch, which coincides with Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Canada, is seen as a nod to the singer’s fans, known as Swifties, who often exchange bracelets at her concerts.
The Bestie Bundle, available since November 12, 2024, includes two Junior Chicken sandwiches, two small fries, two small drinks, and two collectible friendship bracelets for $13 plus tax. The bracelets feature playful phrases like “Live Laugh Big Mac” and “Share fries l8r?” and are designed to be traded among friends. Alyssa Buetikofer, Chief Marketing Officer of McDonald’s Canada, stated that the meal aims to celebrate friendship and shared experiences.
This special offer is part of McDonald’s ongoing strategy to create limited-time promotions that resonate with fans. Previous collaborations have included partnerships with popular franchises like BTS and Pokémon. The Bestie Bundle can be ordered in-store or via the McDonald’s app while supplies last.
The excitement surrounding the Bestie Bundle reflects a growing trend where fast-food chains tap into pop culture to engage customers. Social media users have expressed their enthusiasm for the meal, with many sharing their desire to collect the unique bracelets. However, some American fans have voiced disappointment that the promotion is exclusive to Canada.
In addition to the Bestie Bundle, McDonald’s has also reintroduced its Spicy Chicken McNuggets in select U.S. locations, further driving customer interest during this promotional period.
