Starbucks fans, mark your calendars! Red Cup Day is set for November 14, and it’s your chance to grab a collectible reusable cup for free. If you frequently toss out Starbucks cups after enjoying your favorite drinks, this event is a perfect opportunity to adopt a more eco-friendly habit.
Starbucks aims to reduce waste by half by 2030, and you can contribute by using reusable cups. Here’s what you need to know about this year’s Red Cup Day.
When Is Starbucks Red Cup Day?
Starbucks has officially announced that Red Cup Day will be on Thursday, November 14. If you want to get your free cup, make sure to visit a participating location early in the day, as supplies may run out quickly.
The limited-edition holiday cup is a 16-ounce Grande size, so don’t wait until evening to go get yours.
How to Get Your Free Starbucks Reusable Cup
To receive your free reusable cup, simply order one of this year’s eligible drinks on Red Cup Day. You can place your order in-store, through the Starbucks app, or via delivery services like DoorDash or GrubHub. However, keep in mind that your drink will come in a standard plastic or paper cup; the reusable cup will be given separately.
There’s no special requirement to receive the cup. If you don’t get one with your order, just ask a barista if your drink qualifies or if they have run out of cups.
