Duluth residents are eagerly anticipating the opening of their first Chick-fil-A restaurant, which is set to welcome customers on November 14. The new location, situated at 1530 Miller Trunk Highway near the Miller Hill Mall, will operate from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday. As is customary, it will remain closed on Sundays.
This Chick-fil-A marks the first franchise in Northern Minnesota and will employ approximately 120 staff members. The menu will feature popular items such as chicken sandwiches, nuggets, salads, and waffle fries. Owner-operator Jon Farr expressed excitement about the breakfast offerings, stating that breakfast will be served from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., followed by lunch options starting at 10:30 a.m.
To celebrate its grand opening, Chick-fil-A has made a generous donation of $25,000 to Feeding America, which will benefit Second Harvest Northland. Additionally, the restaurant will participate in the Shared Table program, donating surplus food to local shelters and nonprofits.
In a gesture of appreciation for community service, Chick-fil-A Duluth plans to honor 100 local heroes by providing them with free entrees for a year. The opening day is expected to be a festive occasion as the community comes together to support this new dining option.
