Whataburger is planning to open a second location in Las Vegas. A franchisee of the popular fast-food chain has submitted an application for a new restaurant on Nellis Boulevard, just south of Bonanza Road, according to city planning documents.
The proposed site will span approximately 3,300 square feet and feature a dual-lane drive-thru that wraps around the building. This drive-thru is designed to accommodate up to 18 vehicles, with eight cars able to queue in each lane.
The Las Vegas Planning Commission is scheduled to review the development application during its meeting on Tuesday, November 12. Currently, Whataburger has only one location in Southern Nevada, which is situated on the Las Vegas Strip.
Local residents have expressed excitement about the potential new location. Many are eager for more dining options in the area, especially as Whataburger is known for its unique menu items and customer service.
