Zaxby’s, the popular Southern fast-casual chain known for its chicken “fingerz,” wings, and signature sauces, is set to debut in New Jersey.
The restaurant announced plans in late October to open six locations across the state, marking its first expansion into the Garden State. The new restaurants will be operated by the GSP Group, with the first two locations slated to open in South Jersey by summer 2025. Specific site details have yet to be revealed.
Zaxby’s operates in 19 states, and its expansion into New Jersey is part of the brand’s larger growth strategy. Mike Mettler, the company’s Chief Development Officer, expressed excitement about the move, praising the GSP Group’s experience and commitment to quality.
“We are thrilled to bring Zaxby’s to New Jersey with such skilled and dedicated operators,” Mettler said in the announcement. “The GSP Group’s strong track record makes them the perfect partners for introducing our brand to this new market.”
