Prince Street Pizza is introducing a unique pizza slice inspired by Arby’s at its location in the former Sunset Boulevard Arby’s. This limited-time offering, called “The Beefy American,” will be available for four days this fall, coinciding with Halloween.
As Halloween approaches, people will dress up in costumes, and pets may join in the fun. However, a restaurant transforming its menu to pay homage to another is a rare and exciting event.
The tribute is to the iconic Arby’s location on Sunset Boulevard, which has been replaced by Prince Street Pizza. The pizzeria has kept the famous Arby’s cowboy hat sign intact while serving slices in the building over the past few months.
Although the restaurant won’t physically change into an Arby’s for Halloween, it will offer a special slice that pays homage to the hearty sandwiches once served there.
The Beefy American Slice
This special slice features Wagyu roast beef from RC Provisions, horseradish whipped ricotta, and New School American cheese sauce atop a classic Prince Street Pizza square slice. Priced at $10, it will be available from Halloween through the following weekend, with the last day for purchase on Sunday, November 3.
This culinary creation is part of the ongoing story of the beloved Arby’s sign. After the original Arby’s closed earlier in 2024, fans rallied to save the iconic neon sign, shaped like a cowboy hat.
Prince Street Pizza has taken over the location but has ensured that the sign remains a prominent feature at 5920 Sunset Boulevard, where it has stood for over 50 years.
