KFC is stepping up its game in the fast-food arena with the launch of its new Original Recipe Tenders. This move comes as part of the ongoing competition in the chicken market.
According to a press release, the Original Recipe Tenders are double hand-breaded and made with KFC’s secret blend of 11 herbs and spices. Customers can enjoy these tenders in a $5 Tenders Box, which includes three tenders, Secret Recipe Fries, and two signature sauces: the new Comeback Sauce and Sticky Chicky.
To promote this new product, KFC has rolled out a humorous ad campaign that pokes fun at rival fast-food chains, urging them to “suit up.” Additionally, KFC plans to give away free samples of the tenders on October 17 in select cities, including Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and Atlanta.
KFC is also expanding its menu with new Cherry Pie Poppers, which feature warm cherry filling inside a flaky crust, as well as a refreshing Cranberry Lemonade. Customers can take advantage of special offers, such as a Tenders and Nuggets Family Meal for $24.99 and various daily deals available through KFC Rewards from October 19 to 31. The new tenders will be available for dine-in, online orders, or via the KFC app.
KFC Collaborates with Corkcicle
This summer, KFC partnered with Corkcicle to launch a limited-edition collection of drinkware that combines Corkcicle’s design expertise with KFC’s iconic branding. The collection features exclusive items like the KFC x Corkcicle Cruiser tumbler and the KFC x Corkcicle Canteen, all adorned with a playful fried chicken pattern.
Corkcicle co-founder Stephen Bruner expressed excitement about the collaboration, emphasizing its uniqueness and connection to KFC as a beloved global brand. The collection was available for purchase at corkcicle.com while supplies lasted.
KFC’s new Original Recipe Tenders and accompanying promotions aim to capture customer interest and solidify its position in the competitive fast-food market.
