Chick-fil-A Hosts Trivia Night Featuring Breakfast for Dinner Theme

by Nick

Chick-fil-A’s reputation for Southern hospitality shines at the John Lewis Student Center, where long lines and friendly staff create a welcoming atmosphere. While many patrons appreciate the menu, it is the exceptional customer service that sets Chick-fil-A apart from other fast food chains.

On October 3, Chick-fil-A hosted a trivia night themed “Breakfast for Dinner” to foster connections with students. The event featured prizes related to the restaurant and aimed to create a sense of community among attendees.

Deidre Schulte, a third-year physics student and co-host of the event, emphasized the importance of community. “We want to reach out to students and create close connections,” she stated. Having previously worked at Chick-fil-A in high school, Schulte enjoys working at the student-run location, which enhances the friendly environment.

The trivia night offered students a chance to unwind from their studies while engaging with friends and meeting new people. Schulte noted, “It is hard to find a community when you’re so caught up at school,” highlighting how events like this can strengthen bonds among students.

The trivia featured questions on various topics, including Tech, sports, music, history, and Chick-fil-A itself. Due to high attendance, the games began fifteen minutes early as eager students settled in with meals in hand. The co-hosts, Schulte and Scarlett Harrington, maintained an energetic atmosphere that made waiting for the event enjoyable.

As the night unfolded, teams competed not only for points but also for bonus points by singing songs related to trivia answers. The energy remained high throughout the session, with students eager for more even after trivia ended early.

Following the main event, an impromptu mini-trivia session attracted nearly all attendees. “Even though we didn’t win, we definitely would come back again,” said participants Akash Patel, Vincent Yang, and Kevin Ghobrial.

Students passing through the student center were drawn to the lively atmosphere and joined in on the fun, further enhancing the community spirit that Chick-fil-A aimed to promote.

As the night concluded, co-hosts received numerous inquiries about future trivia events. Since this was the first of its kind at this location, they asked attendees if they would return for another game night and received an enthusiastic affirmative response.

“If this is successful, it’s definitely something we will look forward to having more of,” Schulte remarked before the event.

Given its success, more trivia nights at Chick-fil-A are likely on the horizon.

For updates on future Trivia Nights and Game Nights, keep an eye out for announcements around the student center.

“Breakfast for Dinner” takes place on the first Thursday of each month.
