Taco Bell Canada has launched a new campaign called “Stash Away,” aimed at celebrating the quirky habit of hot sauce collecting. This initiative, created in collaboration with Courage Inc., recognizes that many Taco Bell fans secretly hoard sauce packets, whether they are tucked away in kitchens, backpacks, or glove compartments.
The campaign embraces this playful tradition, encouraging fans to take pride in their sauce stashes. Dana Falk, a marketing analyst for Taco Bell Canada, stated, “Our hot sauce packets are more than just condiments; they represent a rite of passage for our fans.” She acknowledged that many customers stockpile these packets and emphasized that it’s time to shine a light on this common practice.
“Stash Away” will feature vibrant billboards at Taco Bell locations across Canada. These eye-catching advertisements will showcase relatable moments of hot sauce collection, from purses to refrigerator doors, capturing the essence of this beloved habit. Joel Holtby, co-CCO of Courage Inc., remarked on the campaign’s goal to connect with Taco Bell fans through shared experiences. He noted that visiting Taco Bell is not just about enjoying tacos or burritos; it’s also about the thrill of grabbing those colorful sauce packets.
This campaign invites everyone to celebrate their inner hot sauce enthusiast without shame, transforming a cheeky habit into a fun celebration.
