BELLEVUE, Wis. (WBAY) – Chick-fil-A is set to open its second restaurant in the Green Bay area, this time on the east side of the Fox River. The new location will open on Thursday, October 3, at 2153 Monroe Rd. in Bellevue.
The restaurant plans to hire approximately 120 employees for both full-time and part-time positions. It will be owned and operated by Preston Waala, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.
The first Chick-fil-A in the area opened in March 2022 outside Bay Park Square Mall in Ashwaubenon. The new Bellevue restaurant is part of a growing development situated north of Costco and south of Target, which is quickly becoming known as Bellevue’s “restaurant row.”
Nearby dining options include recently opened establishments such as Culver’s, Freddy’s, Panda Express, and Tropical Smoothie Cafe. The area also features established restaurants like A’Bravo Bistro, Grapevine Cafe, Pizza Hut, Tucson’s Southwest Grill, and Umi Sushi.
To celebrate the opening, Chick-fil-A is donating $25,000 to Feeding America to support local hunger relief programs. Waala also intends to participate in the chain’s Shared Table program, which donates surplus food to food banks, shelters, and nonprofit organizations.
The Bellevue location will operate from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Like all Chick-fil-A restaurants, it will be closed on Sundays.
