Jack in the Box Guam has announced a new partnership with No Kid Hungry, a national campaign focused on raising awareness and funds to end childhood hunger. The collaboration, revealed on Thursday, allows customers to contribute directly to this vital cause.
From now until September 30, patrons can donate as little as $1 at Jack in the Box locations in exchange for a free coupon for a small order of the chain’s signature Curly Fries with any future menu purchase. This initiative offers a way for customers to enjoy a tasty reward while also supporting the fight against childhood hunger.
“Supporting our communities has always been a core principle for us,” said Glenn Dela Cruz, Director of Marketing for Jack in the Box Hawaii and Guam. “Providing something as simple as fresh fruit and vegetables can truly make a difference, and we’re excited to give our customers in Guam a chance to join us in this important effort.”
No Kid Hungry has made a significant impact in Hawaii over the past four years, providing grants to various organizations working to reduce child food insecurity. These include Hawai’i Appleseed, which addresses local food insecurity, and Malama Kaua’i, which runs a summer home delivery program to connect children with meals. Now, the goal is to extend this support to organizations in Guam through grant applications.
“Serving and feeding is at the heart of what we do,” said Nick Domingo, Director of Operations for Jack in the Box Hawaii and Guam. “This in-store fundraiser allows us to extend our mission beyond the restaurant and into the community to help feed our ‘ohana. We believe that together, we can make a significant difference for families across Hawai’i.”
Since 2020, No Kid Hungry has been at the forefront of efforts to combat childhood hunger. Beyond grant funding, the organization has provided free resources like webinars, outreach toolkits, and research to improve access to nutritious meals for children.
This partnership between Jack in the Box Guam and No Kid Hungry marks an important step in expanding efforts to address childhood hunger, ensuring that children in Guam, Hawaii, and beyond receive the nourishment they need.
